|
Stage Research, creators of SFX, one of the industry's most trusted and widely used sound playback software programs, is proudly taking part in this years Scenofest 2007 in Prague by providing SFX software to the event. Computers will be provided for by CueOne (www.cueone.co.uk) from the UK. Scenofest 2007 is part of the Prague Quadrennial and will run for ten days between June 15th and June 24th. The event provides students, young practitioners, teachers and experienced professionals with an unforgettable experience. The Scenofest team have created a range of activities for participants from as many performance design areas as possible. Whether taking part in one of the major projects, in the special workshops, or just attending PQ and Scenofest and experiencing the huge range of design work, and performances your visit to Prague will be more than worthwhile. Sound design will be well represented at this event with lectures and workshops by eminent sound designers such as John Leonard, Chris Shutt, Nancy Tobin, Rick Thomas and Igor Drevelev. All the sound design activities have been organized by the OISTAT Sound Working Group headed my UK based sound designer Steve Brown. "With such a variety of events and very little change over time its been essential to specify equipment that people are familiar with, happy to use and has proven reliability, so when choosing a platform for the playback of all audio content at Scenofest 2007 SFX was the obvious choice. Having just used SFX on several shows myself, I have every confidence that its more than capable of helping us handle the enormous task we face and will be a major contributing factor to the success of this event." Said Steven Brown of Listen Hear Sound Projects (www.listenhear.co.uk) For more information and regular updates on Scenofest 2007, check out http://www.scenofest.org and http://www.pq.cz. |
