STAGE RESEARCH RETURNS AS CORPORATE SPONSOR OF LIVE DESIGN BROADWAY SOUND MASTER CLASSES

Northfield, OH (April 30th, 2009) - Stage Research is returning for its second year as a corporate sponsor of the Live Design Broadway Sound Master Classes to be held May 16-17 in New York City.  The Master Classes are known as the industry's most comprehensive training ground for sound, lighting and projection design.  At last year's sessions Stage Research netted the coveted Sound Product of the Year Award for its flagship SFX software.

Stage Research will raise its profile at the 2009 Broadway Sound Master Classes where it will be showcasing its line of audio products and offering special training to any visiting SFX user, notes cofounder Carlton Guc.  "We're very happy to be returning to the sound sessions where Stage Research received accolades for SFX last year.  As our customer base continues to grow we hope many of them will turn out for the Master Classes."

The keynote speaker of the Broadway Sound Master Classes will be sound designer Jonathan Deans who currently has "Spiderman" on Broadway, a new Cirque du Soleil show on tour and another new Cirque production in Las Vegas.

Also on tap will be John Taylor from d&b audiotechnik's education department who will speak on Archiving Sound Design and take a fresh look at the challenges of archiving theater sound design.
